No, you can't get this application to work on Windows 7 and WIndows 10 because it was discontinued. The Micrografix developers have been acquired by Corel. All their previous applications were upgraded and now you have the possibility to use advanced apps that are compatible with the mentioned Windows versions. Visit the link posted below to access the new products.

As posted elsewhere on this site I was able to install PP8 from CD on a Vista system - it basically runs well, though each time I launch it (or click on a PPF file) I get prompted 'Are you sure?' by Vista.
But Win7 is one bridge further, and your PP6 one or two steps back, so the only thing I can offer is that another poster here says he has PP10 running on Win10 - I hope he will share with us the settings magic he uses to make this viable. PP is such a great program - I have resisted PS Elements and Lightroom to date (9/2022) as I don't know that they are as good, and it is hard to face a steep and risky learning curve when PP is so very familiar - that it is worth jumping through major hoops to get it running. Maybe you could find an old Vista system to use offline as I do - it might let PP6 run. Don't you just hate the whole 'Kill competition by acquisition' thing? Best of luck to you! PS Still discovering new aspects of PP after 25+ years!
