Lost Sound Organizer files.

I've saved class recordings for my prof-husband for years. Now, the saved files "Cannot be found" when I try to open, but the titles appear in the S.O. subfolders. Most have vanished from the "My Music" file where the S.O. recordings go on my computer. I have done nothing different this week. Is it possible to retrieve these recordings? I'm now on Windows 10, but lost files is new behavior.

If the files have been deleted, then I recommend installing a recovery solution. You can use it to search for lost files even if they were deleted. Windows 10 deletes applications that are not compatible. I have seen many users complaining about this. If you didn't copy anything on the system partition, install Recuva and then scan for your files.

Install the application then use the Wizard to select the partition or folder where the files were stored. Enable the Deep Scan to increase accuracy.
