This is a problem related to compatibility. The application you previously use isn't compatible with Windows 10. Typically, this can be fixed by the developers when they release an updated version of the software, but for these apps, I rarely saw any updates when new operating systems were released. Try reinstalling the application in compatibility mode with Windows 7. Right click the setup package and choose Run as Administrator.
