The device doesn't have support for Windows 8. I have checked its official page, and the only compatible Windows versions are: Windows 98, 2000, NT, XP, Vista, and XP 64bit. As you can see, there is no Windows 8 mentioned in this list. However, you already have installation packages, disable Windows 8 Driver Enforcement and then install the drivers and the software. In some cases, it works very easy with any issues.
