The application uses the Google's Calendar in order to get and save the data. Make sure to sync the data with the account used on your phone and then switch to new phone and add the application. Also, add the account used on the previous phone and then Sync all the items in the Settings > Accounts. This will get the data from previous phone to the new phone.
