Firstly, restart your PC and then plug the modem to another USB port. You will see that Windows will install the necessary drivers again. Secondly, go to Device manager and check if the modem is installed properly. Restart the application and try to connect again. If you see the same message, reinstall the software and the drivers, but this time apply a Run as Administrator option to the setup package and run it with Compatibility for 7 or XP.
