I noticed that 2 Windows driver packages were recently added, 1 from Dynamic Innovations and 1 from Silicon Labs. Do I need either or both of them?

It all depends on what devices you have that use the drivers mentioned above. From my understanding, the Silicon Labs driver is used by the wireless device. If you have such a device installed on your computer, then it's advised to let it use it. Additionally, go to Start > Run > devmgmt.msc and make sure there are no drivers with a yellow sign listed in the list. If there are, right-click them and choose Update Driver. Make sure you are connected to the Internet in order to install them.
