I have entered too many pattern attempts and forgot my backup PIN. I have a Galaxy Note phone.

You are all wrong it's the power button and the volume keys then with the volume ke u move to factory reset and then with power key enter then down to yes then enter and then reboot system and it has been restored back to its original setting.
