The same person all the time

I have the same issue, with the same person on my snap chat list. Every time I send a snap, first the icon is normal, red or purple, but after some time it turns into the grey opened box with a text "Swipe for chat", but only with one person. How does this happen? Never tried it before with anyone else.

A grey box indicates that something wrong happened with the message. In most of the cases it indicates that it is corrupted. Try sending it again or create the content and share it with the person. Secondly, remove and then add the user again and repeat the sending process. If I am right, the grey box should disappear from the message.
