Norton blocks scan sent from a network printer.

Norton Security Scan blocks a scan file sent to my PC from a network printer. How do I teach it not to do that?

The Norton Security Scan application doesn't have the possibility of adding exclusions for services. This is actually possible in the Internet Security or Norton 360 because those apps have the available modules for this process. However, there is a simple way to overcome this issue. Simply turn off the PC's protection from the Security Scan or exit the application completely since a print job from the local network can't harm your computer. The Security Scan is used to scan the protocols and files on your computer, but it can't block certain things like printing on the network.
