Operating systems compatibility.

We have purchased this software which states: the new 32-bit software now fully supports Windows 9.x/NT/2000/ME operating systems and we are running Windows 7. We are getting run-time errors and enclosure input is not reached. What can we do to effectively use this software? What can we do to effectively use this software?

The software might support 32bit operating systems, but if you have Windows 7, then it's impossible to run it. I have checked the official website, and no other downloadable version compatible with Windows 7 could be found. You will have to apply a compatibility tweak. Right-click on the software and choose Troubleshoot Compatibility, then use the options offered by Windows. Choose Windows XP, then run the software in Administrator mode. To do this, right-click it again and choose Run as Administrator. If it still doesn't work, you will have to install Windows XP through virtualization.

You can use VirtualBox to install and use Windows XP.
