These are the operating systems supported by the DVR software: Windows 98, Millenium, NT 4.0, 2000 or XP. As you can see, the Windows 7 OS is not mentioned which means it's not supported, but you can run the software in Compatibility mode. To do this, right click the software and choose Properties > Compatibility and select Windows XP from the drop down list.
