A low virtual memory notice appears when the programs you use consume the available physical memory. A virtual page file is created by default by Windows XP and has the total amount of the physical memory multiplied more than 1.5 times. When this file becomes unavailable because of the applications which use big amount of RAM, then the error appears. The simplest way to get rid of this error is to add more RAM to your computer. A total amount of 2 GB of RAM should be enough for the applications you are currently using.
