How do I know if someone deleted their account on Snapchat or blocked me?

I had an old classmate on Snapchat and I checked my Snapchat today and they are not on my friends list anymore. We don't talk much so i don't see why would she blocked me. Anyway, my question is did she block me? Or did she just deleted her account?

You can't really know if someone blocked you on Snapchat, but there a few signs you can guide on. Firstly, you won't see that person online and all the messages you send won't appear as viewed. Secondly, even if you add them back, the request will stay as "Waiting confirmation" for a very long time. This could also mean they've deleted their account as well. The best way is to ask him/her through other means.

With the new snapchat update, you can hold down in their name from the furthermost left screen. A box will pop up, if the box has a "Add Friend" option, try pushing it. If it doesen't work and shows a grey message at the top of the screen, they have blocked you. If they have deleted their account then you can make a new account and try adding their username. If it is deleted it will not allow you to add them.
