Backup software information.

I have installed the backup software on my XP Windows computer with two external hard disks for backups. Both of these disks are accessible to the computer as I can transfer files to them using Explorer. However when I try to select them for backup purposes the HD Backup Manager does not permit me to select them.

The software was supplied when I purchased a USB Sata 2 Bay HD docking station. Can you assist me?

This is a very unusual situation because the software should allow backing up operations to the specified hard disks. Try closing all the running applications, then access the HD Backup Manager and check the configuration options. The software should have some requirements before you can actually select the disks for backup. For example, NTFS is required in case of all the backup operations.
