The player crashes every time I watch a video.

The movies are badly encoded causing crashes and memory leaks. You might need to rip them again from your Blu-ray discs.
There could be bugs in the way the application works. Even if everything is working fine on your computer, the program will always causes errors. A fresh installation or a new version could fix this.
