When you buy this kind of products, it usually comes with an installation CD, a manual and warranty papers. If you have the CD, insert it into the CD/DVD-Rom and wait for the autorun to start. Then click setup and follow the on-screen instructions. When it asks you plug in the device into an USB port and wait for the drivers to install. If you're prompted that the driver isn't Microsoft Certified (WHQL) you can simply accept and install the driver anyway because nothing is going to happen. The company (Authentec) doesn't provide ways to download the driver and if you don't have the CD then contacting them is the only solution in order to get the driver/software.
