Adobe Flash Player 15 ActiveX will not play anything on Youtube including music.

I have the following system:

System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit
Microsoft Windows Media Player: Plays and supports audio
Adobe Reader XI installed p/'auto-link' sent from Adobe and that is when things seemed to go 'skawampas'.
Have verified: Shockflash Object is Activated in Manage Add-ons.

I have been working at this since three weeks ago.

The Adobe Reader shouldn't interfere with the Flash Player Plug-in. If you have trouble with the ActiveX package, I recommend deleting everything related to the Adobe Flash and your favorite browser. Completely remove the Adobe Flash Player and the browser you use, then re-download the packages. The Adobe Flash Player 15 ActiveX is working just fine. I use it with Chrome and Firefox and it's working without problems. The version installed is: Version: 15.0.0.189. Access the Adobe Player page and download the new package after you have installed your browser.
