If the Photage doesn't want to communicate with your printer it's because there is a problem with the connectivity between the PC and printer. The first thing to do is to check the cables connecting the device. You can replace it and then perform additional diagnosis on the PC. Go to Device manager and make sure the printer is properly installed. In case the device is marked with a yellow sing, it means something is wrong. Right click it and select Uninstall then reboot the PC. Re-install the drivers and then try to print something again.
Additionally, access Hardware and devices in the Control panel or Printer and Faxes. Locate your printer and select Online and the default option.
