Is it legal to use DRM Removal tool like M4VGear?

I have found a DRM Removal tool named M4VGear for me to remove DRM from iTunes videos so that I can watch them on my Android phone. To be frank, I have tried this program and found it was gorgeous. The speed is very fast, the quality is lossless. The subtitle and audio are kept. But I am afraid of the legality of using software like this. Could someone give me an answer?

Yee, you can. I am not using M4VGear but Noteburner, I have no idea what's their difference. But Noteburner can works fine.

It should be legal if you just use it for yourself and won't share the converted files on website. M4VGear is the best ripper i have that supports many formats and conversion speed is amazing even the clarity is great.

For personal user only, you can use such DRM removal tool legally. But you're not allowed to use it to unlock a variety movies for making money. I also once used TunesKit M4V Converter to download my purchased iTunes movies for playing on my Andorid smartphone. It worked great for me!
