According to the PDF manual, the ViewSpec Pro application works with ASCII files in plain text mode. To open the file from Excel to ViewSpec, a user needs to export the data from Excel to CSV file format or to the Text (MS-Dos). Open the Excel file and then use File > Save. Open ViewSpec Pro and use the import function. Since the application works best with ViewSpec, export to TEXT files is a great advantage.
