If you want to sync this device with the PC, HotSync needs to be installed. You can find an old copy of the application on the HP website. The application will work for 32bit Windows versions. HotSync doesn't have support for 64bit Windows installations. You will need Bluetooth for that operation (see the link in page to set up). Access the website, download the application then install it and connect your device. In Windows 8.1 make sure to run the software as Administrator.
