Yes, you can use this scanner on Mac Book computer. Access the Canon website and then select the correct version of Mac OS X installed on your computer. If you don't know which version is installed, go to Finder > About this mac and you should see the exact version. Once identified, access the website and install the driver. Plug the device to your computer and that's it. It should be installed and available for scanning/printing, etc.
