Can you tell me with the Cloner 5 software do you need to be connected to the Internet to rip/copy? I realise upgrading the software is needed to keep up with protections. Just wondered if it's capable of / powerful enough to do ripping/burning without the need to be connected to a site? Internet connection is needed with software like DVDFab.

After you install the software on your computer, you don't have to connect to the internet to rip/copy. Or you may try this blu-ray ripper. I always use it to my own blu-ray movie, it worked fairly well.

Hope it helps.

According to the official information, there is nowhere specified about the need for an Internet connection. This software is used locally and it works as it should once it's installed. Of course, if it has an Internet Update module, then the connection is necessary to update the software and that's it.
