Does Worktop require Java?

Does Worktop require Java? I'm want to uninstall Java because of the security nightmares and want the whole company -- all 300,000 of us -- to uninstall Java if we can.

Yes, Worktop requires Java Virtual Machine in order to run properly. If you uninstall Java, you will lose functionality to this application. This means that Java needs to be installed on all those computer where you are for the program to work properly.
