Can't add new items to the application.

I had to move to Windows 8, and I am unable to add new dogs. Any thoughts or a new version I can use?

This application wasn't developed to be compatible with Windows 8. This means that it doesn't know how to handle security permissions. In this case, simply re-install the application and every time you start it, make sure to run it as Administrator. You can do this by right clicking it and then selecting Run as Administrator. You were unable to add new items because the software attempts to write on the system partition and because it doesn't have access it gives you an error or it's not working at all.
