This package installs Visual C++ Libraries which are required to run 64-bit applications developed with Visual C++. This package is a must in case your operating system is running in 64bit mode. Otherwise, there is no point in installing it onto your computer and you should choose a 32bit edition. In order for this package to be compatible with your operating system, you need the following requirements:
- Windows x64 system;
- A CPU that has 64bit capabilities;
- Windows Installer upgraded to version 3.1.
