Visual C++ Redistributable Packages are used to install runtime components from Visual C++ libraries. These libraries are required in order to run applications that have been designed with Visual Studio 2012. If you don't install this redistributable package, the applications created in Visual Studio 2012 will not be available for installation or running on your computer.
