Add beam section for a line body in Mechanical.

Question

I have line body imported in WB and I want to assign a beam section to it. The Command snippet couldn't work because the line body is shown as undefined "with question mark" in the WB tree. I would like to know if I can use a JS for example to do this in Mechanical.

There is a tutorial you can use to add beam sections for a line body, but in order to access it, you need to use Google Search. You can find the information on EDR website. Unfortunately, you cannot use a JS.

Go to concepts>cross section select any one of the cross section and click on parts and solids in tree outline in design moduler. There will be a unfilled column in the line select the cross section and then generate.
