Why won't print in black?

I have a HP 5520 Photosmart and have replaced all ink cartridges and cleaned printheads and can't get black to print?

Open then application related to HP printer and access its Maintenance settings. From that location try to print a test page. If black doesn't get printed, switch the printing mode to use all cartridges from the same location. This could be related to the fact that the printer is used to print in color mode only. If it still not working after using the settings menu, you might need to replace the black cartridge.
