Firstly, you have to check if the printer is configured correctly. For this, go to any application and access the Print menu, then select the default printer and access its Preferences. You will have the possibility to select the printing mode related to color.
If black and white is selected, switch to Color Mode and print something, then reverse the process.
Another possibility is that your printer might not have enough Black ink, so check the tanks.
There are no tools available for the cleaning procedure. Use the Cleaning function found in Printer Services when you click Properties.
