If it hasn't been used, the first time you open the phone you are greeted with the Android logo and the company's logo who manufactured the phone. Since the phone is using Android, just follow the guide and connect to a network, then enter a Google account (or create, if don't have one), and that's it. During the wizard you will also be asked about promotions or other network-related settings. Once the wizard finishes its operation, you can use the phone accordingly.
