WiDiApp has stopped working

Question

When I attempt to access Intel Wireless Display I'm told WiDiApp has stopped working. Can you help me rectify? Thanks.

Some common solutions are:

• uninstall and reinstall the Intel Wireless Display (can download it from here: http://www.intel.com/support/wireless/wtech/iwd/sb/CS-031109.htm )
• right click the program and "run as administrator".
• check if there's no firewall blocking widiapp
