Usually, the problem with WLAN adapters is caused by bad registry and driver files. The solution to this is to remove the driver using its Uninstaller from Add/Remove Programs or by going into Device Manager (Start > Run > type devmgmt.msc and press Enter). After these operations, restart your computer and when you come back to desktop mode, cancel any driver installation windows and proceed to your original driver and install it. You will see that it will work and you can connect to your network.
