This is a simple application, but unfortunately it lacks Windows 7 compatibility. This could be a reason the application does have problems. Try running it with Administrator access and re-install the needed fonts. It's not generally necessary to install them since the characters are already built into the application. Additionally, download the new version from its official website. You will need to be a registered user to be able to download the latest version.
