You can take advantage of the share features implemented in Windows. Go to your mom's computer and right click the folder with the pictures and then choose Properties > Sharing. Enable sharing and the path will be displayed. Access your computer and go to Start > Run and input the path. Once the folder opens, copy the videos to your computer.
