When installing it says "Paid Mode is not Available".

Eudora version 7.1.0.9 tells me prior to installation that I can't use paid mode because it won't transfer over from my 6.2 version but I was told by many experts that it works as a full version because "Paid Mode" doesn't exist anymore. How do I ensure that all the paid mode features function properly?

You are trying to use an application that has been discontinued and no longer maintained. If you have the content from Eudora, save it to a location on your hard drive, then install the new version based on Eudora created by the Mozilla Corporation. Mozilla Thunderbird is a good alternative to Eudora because it mimics the same behavior and it simply works as an email client.
