In many cases the locked content is usually hidden using file permissions. For this purpose, if the videos and pictures were on the external storage, remove the SD card and connect it to the PC using a card reader. From Windows, go to My Computer > Tools > Folder Options > View > Show hidden system files then check the card drive. If the files are there, copy them to your computer but in case the files are not there, there is no way to recover them.
