While going through install procedure for a smart card reader, I get an error while installing a version of IDprotect more recent than the one already existing on my laptop (Windows 7 Home Premium).

It apparently need a file not present on my system: IDProtectClientx64.msi VALID for 5.24 version to uninstall the previous version.

The IDProtectClientx64.msi I downloaded from your site doesn't work for 5.24 version.

Where can I find the right one?

Before attempting to uninstall the application, use Revo Uninstaller. Even if it can't uninstall the application normally, it will force it to uninstall by wiping out all traces of its presence from the system. Revo will take care of the file requirement and it will bypass it allowing you to fully uninstall everything related to IDProtect Client.
