Why does my agcr.exe stop working when I open a CD?

My agcr.exe stops working when I try to work on a CD that I have used many times before. I have tried turning off my protection. Tried to have it trusted and I still cannot figure out what is happening. Any ideas on how I can fix this? It is really important to open this CD if any way possible. All ideas are appreciated.

AGCR.exe application belongs to the Microsoft Silverlight. The process is started whenever Silverlight content is detected and played on your browser. The problem is that it does not have anything to do with CDs, however, if you have trouble, try to re-install the Silverlight. It's possible the registry entries are corrupted giving compatibility issues.
