The Brother printer is still not working

I have the same problem. I've reinstalled the software plus updated the firmware of the printer and the driver of CUP, as Brother suggested. Also, I've rebooted both the printer and my computer (MacBook Pro). I have tried connecting via WiFi and directly via USB, but I still get "A Brother printer could not be found" message. NewSoft customer support was not yet helpful. What can I do?

To fix the issue, you should update the drivers of the printer. Even if you have updated its firmware and reinstalled the printing software, the printer will not be recognized. Just access the official web page, identify your printer model, select your operating system, and download and install the latest drivers available.
