Dell System Detect installation problem.

I was trying to install Dell System Detect on my Inspiron 530 laptop, but I received an error message saying that the application could not be started. Can you help?

Firstly, in order to fix the issue, I suggest you update Windows Installer. If you're using Windows XP or below, update it using the package provided by Microsoft. If you're using Windows Vista or above, update it through Windows Update. After that, navigate to Dell Support page, click the Detect My Product button, save the file to your computer and install it following the on-screen instructions.
