Cannot download some songs because they are not popular enough. Is this true?

No, you can download every song you like as long as the Spotify is installed, however, the application has some limitations such as hotkeys disabled, 2 maximum download sessions. Besides that, it seems that it's now discontinued. The official website does not work anymore.

Mine still works, but yes. I've had this problem as well. I'm still trying to figure a way around it.

Okay, I figured it out. Say it's a greatest hits album, make sure you drag it from the album it's from. I was trying to download from the greatest hit. Now I found the songs I wanted. :)

They are similar to torrents. If there are no seeds of a specific song available at that particular time, it will say "not popular enough".
