In some cases, these modems can't be installed in various operating systems (Windows 8 and Windows 7) because the drivers are not compatible but there is a way.
Plug the modem to your PC/laptop then right click the driver from the My Computer followed by Explore. Launch the support software and install it even if the driver installation fails then restart the computer. Once it's back to desktop, go to Device Manager, right click the modem item and select Update Driver. Point the installer to the Program files folder > Modem folder and wait for full installation. Even if Windows will say the driver isn't signed, you can continue with the installation procedure.
