The SKM window says that 'Device is not connected'

I have connected my phone (Samsung Galaxy S4 mini) via USB, checked USB Debugging to be on and run the USB server on my PC (with Windows 7), but nothing is happening on SKM. The AutoPlay menu for my phone is coming up but that's all, I don't know what's going wrong.

If it says that the device is not connected, it means the phone is either missing its drivers or the application is not compatible with your phone. First download Kies, the official application for Samsung phones, and install the tool because it also contains the necessary drivers for your phone. After it's installed, connect the phone and attempt a new connection to the SKM. If it still doesn't work, then the application is not compatible with your phone.
