I have been using Family Tree Maker V2.0 HD M for many years. It was supplied on 3.5 disks, (2 disks). My computer crashed, does it mean I have lost all my records with over one thousand family names and details?
If you have all your data saved on your C:/ drive then it is possible that if you perform an installation of your OS, you will be required to format your drive which means that all your data will be lost. However, you can try to install Windows OS on another drive first in order to recover your data or you can use a software like Recuva to try to recover your data.
