Can Picasa open MPEG-4 and MOV files with the help of LAV video decoder? I downloaded and installed the utility, but I can open only AVI files.
Yes. If you installed LAV video decoder, you should be able to open MPEG-4 and MOV files with Picasa. If you can't open them, update Picasa to the latest version, launch it and select Options from the Tools menu. Click the File Types tab and check the box next to MPEG-4/DIVX and MOV. If you still can't open the files, download and install Combined Community Codec Pack. This should fix it.
