MSN Chat Record uses its own proprietary format, but luckily for you, these files can be opened with Wordpad or Notepad. To access them, go to your My Documents folder > My received files > Your MSN username folder > History. The folder contains all the records for your chat. Right click one of it and then select Open with > Notepad/Wordpad and that's it. You can now read all the chat records.
