If you can't remove the extension using the classical way, then I recommend you on using AdwCleaner. You can obtain a copy of the application through the application's page at Software Informer. Download, run it and then check the extensions to keep and uncheck all those that you want to be removed. Start the scanning process and then use Clean. Reboot the computer and the extension should be removed automatically.
