I had recently purchased Sony 1 TB external hard drive and put the password on it using Password Protection Manager. I lost all the data from it, approximative 700 GB. How can I recover my data?

To recover lost data from a hard drive, you can use the Software Informer's database in order to find a program that can help you in this matter. I suggest you take a look at EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard. This is a shareware product, but it has support for all partition type like FAT, VFAT, FAT12, FAT16, FAT32, NTFS and NTFS5.
